The mission.
SD Worx is one of the largest players in employer and employee administration in Belgium. They provide innovative tools for all renumeration aspects in all kinds of corporate administrations.
For one of these tools ‘FIP’ (flexible income plan) they wanted a short explainer animation that shows exactly what their tool does for employees and employers.
The video needed a creative touch as administration is often viewed as boring subject. So how to make a boring subject exciting none the less?
The creative proposal
Cats on the internet are phenomenon. Everybody who has surfed on the internet has encountered a cat video or has even searched for it.
We wanted to create our own cat video, and use this as popular approach to the somewhat dusty content.
By comparing employees with cats it was a bold proposition but SD Worx trusted our creative idea and together we came to this video that is enjoyable to watch but also explains a complex system and sends out a clear message.
We used 2 different styles of animation to be able to make some of the content more understandable by using more schematic animations. This is an ideal way to simplify complex messages. 2D motion design for explainer videos has been a proved to work as a great tool for corporate communication.
The more standard animations of the cats make the video more entertaining for the spectators and attract attention.
Even internally at SD Worx this video has now a bit of a reputation and is used often to communicate towards their prospects and existing clients.
