The mission.
Pierre Bleue Belge is a world-renown company which extracts Limestone from the Belgian Quarry’s in the Soignies Region. Its products are found everywhere from interior design buildings to historical landmarks.
Their centuries old company didn’t have any audiovisual support and wanted to modernize their communication with a corporate image film video.
Their target audience consisted of mostly professionals in their sector and distributors around the world.
The creative proposal
Inspired by musical clips of Woodkit and Chemical Brothers we went into the quarry to find impressive images that would fit in a musical composition. Quite creative for a corporate image film.
Knowing that we would find gigantic machines and beautiful landscapes we were sure the combination with some more emotional music would make a great contrast.
We followed the whole chain of extraction of the limestone up until the creation of their ‘end products’, which are big slabs or smaller pavement blocks with different finishing touches and created this composition.


There are very specific skills and machines needed for the activities of Pierre Bleue Belge.
It’s hard physical work sometimes in very bad weather circumstances and there are risks everywhere. The people working in the quarry know that it is a work of passion.
This passion for Bleu Stone needed to come out of these images and so we decided to show the people behind this work of giants.
The story is easy to follow and different key words were added to give a bit more specific information on their capacity, activities and products.
