The mission.
Promati, an engineering company in Belgium and a part of Baucotech holding wanted a video to show their activities. Creating a video about their services is something quite ‘out of the ordinary’ in their sector and they didn’t have any clue about how to put what they do in the spotlights.
Their clients are companies that work with raw materials. Places where dirt and dust is just the way of things. The most heavy industry in Belgium uses their services and what they do is as crucial as the oil that makes the engine turn.
It doesn’t happen often but Promati gave us all the creative liberty to come up with a creative idea to approach their business.
The creative proposal
Our creative team analysed the engineering activities of Promati and found beauty in the dirt. The heavy industry inspired our director to write down an industrial poem about ‘keeping everything moving’. This poem would be used as the voice over of the film for Promati.
Putting the images of heavy machinery in contrast with the carefully picked words of the poem together created this experimental video. The artistic approach to the dirty, muddy, greasy environment created this beautiful video.
The video was shown for the first time at a company event where family members of the employees were also invited. Little did they know about their partners job, until they saw this film.
The workers of Promati finally had something to show to their close ones to explain what they do and something to be proud of.
The company owners gave us complete trust and were extremely happy they did so. A ‘Carte Blanche’…
